If you use mods, you then need to learn how they work, and then you need to know how they alter the rules of the game, but how can you know what rules to alter as you don't yet know thew rules of the game that need altering, nor why they need to be altered. I don't see how railways stop you from planning them on an empty map? Even of you wait to plan your city for a while, you should be able to see early on where they need to go.īut a great many people play without mods with ease. Them being unavailable early in the game makes it impossible to design your cities. Railroads are something you have to plan from the beginning. You're given such a small tile for the first tile, that you have no choice but to put your landfills near the rest of your city. Want to delete landfills? Be prepared to wait 15 to 20 minutes for them to be emptied. If you just play normal without unlimited money or without mods to delete landfills, you will eventually face the problem where you want to build something, but you can't because of permanent undeletable landfills. The game seems to be unplayable without mods. ![]()
